How to Apply

STEP 1: Apply for College Acceptance

You can begin applying for awards as soon as we have received your college application (see dates and deadlines below).  You must be accepted by the award application deadline in order to be considered for awards. If you haven’t applied yet, go over to our Admissions section and apply!

STEP 2: See Which Awards are Available

We have many scholarships, awards, and bursaries available!
Take a look (below) through the various awards to see what is available. Our scholarship application asks general questions to help us determine what you are eligible for. This helps to simplify the application process and the time it takes to complete the application. Some awards require additional information.

STEP 3: Apply for Financial awards

You can access the application form through your Briercrest Live  account under Finance—College Scholarships and Awards application. If you’ve already been accepted and don’t have access to your Briercrest Live account, contact your Admissions Adviser at 1.800.667-5199 or enrolnow@briercrest.ca.

New Students: If you do not have a username and password for Briercrest Live, please contact an admissions adviser at 1-800-667-5199.

In order to keep your award, you need to maintain the eligibility requirements.
The basic requirements are:

  • a cumulative GPA of 2.3 or higher (67%)

Complete list of eligibility requirements.

Reference Forms

The following awards require reference forms. If a student has requested a reference from you, please complete the appropriate form and submit it by the award application deadline.

Other Briercrest Awards

We also have a number of other Briercrest awards that are geared towards students in various stages of life (demographic), have a specific extra-curricular or ministry involvement, or live in a particular location. Some of these awards have different requirements than some of the others listed above, so please make sure you’re aware of the requirements before applying.
