New Testament Faculty Position

SUMMARY

Briercrest College and Seminary, with primary appointment in Briercrest Seminary, invites applications for a full-time New Testament Faculty Position beginning August 1, 2020.

The successful candidate’s teaching will support ministerial and academic degrees in the seminary along with occasional undergraduate teaching. Candidates should possess a PhD (or equivalent), and show potential for excellence in teaching, in service to the Church, and in research supporting ministerial education. Prior ministry and teaching experience will be highly regarded. Questions about the nature of the post may be directed to Dr. Blayne Banting, Interim Dean of the Seminary (bbanting@briercrest.ca).

Briercrest College and Seminary is a private post-secondary institution in the evangelical Protestant tradition that enrolls over 700 students in 18 undergraduate and graduate programs. Candidates must be committed to historic Christian orthodoxy and be sympathetic to the traditions of the college and seminary. All employees agree to sign a doctrinal statement and code of conduct.
