The Results Are In: National Survey of Student Engagement

Posted: March 16, 2015

The acronym 'NSSE' stands for the National Survey of Student Engagement. It is a survey that runs annually from February 11 to March 31. The purpose of the survey is to collect information about the academic quality of institutions based on the opinions of students from participating Canadian and U.S. universities and colleges. Following the survey, Maclean's Magazine takes the average scores of each institution and then uses this data to rank each school accordingly.

Briercrest was included in the past year’s survey along with 75 other institutions.

The NSSE Results reveal that Briercrest continues to offer students outstanding learning, exceptional teaching and an incomparable experience. We celebrate these accomplishments of our institution with you and are grateful that students value the opportunity of growing and learning at Briercrest.

We've broken down the Maclean's Magazine results in a visual infographic style so that you can take in all of the data with ease. Have a look and feel free to share this information with your friends.

Please note that the comaprative results are based on the data published by Maclean's in 2015 which is based on surveys done by NSSE in 2013 and 2014.
