Residence and Housing
The dorm community is an integral aspect of the student experience and is a highlight for many of our students. The dorms provide a unique opportunity to build close relationships, be part of a community focused on discipleship, and have a ton of fun!
Each dorm has a paid staff member, a Residence Director (RD), who provides a pastoral presence in the dorm.
The RD works alongside Residence Assistants (RAs), student leaders, in each hall to support and encourage students’ growth and success!

Community Housing
Something that makes Briercrest College and Seminary is its residence program. We believe in education that goes beyond the classroom environment. This means that all unmarried students who are under the age of 23 (at the beginning of the semester) and without dependants must live in a student dorm unless they qualify and have successfully applied for community housing status.
Community housing approvals are limited to students who meet one of the following criteria:
- Are 23+ years of age
- Have completed 90+ formally applied college credit hours, including transfer credits.
- Will be living with immediate family on or near campus
- Plan to commute to school from a pre-established residence in Moose Jaw or the surrounding area (minimum of one year before application).
Students who meet these criteria must also be in good standing in all areas of school life. Everyone in this category must apply and be approved for community housing status before proceeding with moving plans.
