Most of our students live in on-campus dorms, which provide a vibrant, Christ-centred community. Dorm life offers intentional opportunities for students to build friendships, grow in faith, and receive support from Resident Directors (RDs) and student leaders. Each dorm has its unique personality and traditions, and all are conveniently located just a short walk from classrooms, the chapel, and the dining hall.

We offer alternative housing options for married students, single parents, and students over 23. Contact your student’s Admissions Advisor for more details.

We take the safety of our students seriously. Our campus community is close-knit and located in a small, rural setting. Campus Security and Student Development staff are available for emergencies, and Resident Directors live in the dorm to provide daily support.

Briercrest offers a wide variety of programs in areas like Psychology, Business, English, Biblical Studies, Christian Ministry, and TESOL. Students can choose certificates, diplomas, and bachelor’s degrees, as well as explore transferable courses. See our full list of programs here: briercrestcollege.ca/academics.

Admissions Advisors also serve as Academic Advisors, helping students choose the right courses for their program and career goals. Academic Services offers tutoring, writing help, time management strategies, and study skills workshops.

Briercrest offers a variety of scholarships, bursaries, and financial awards for new and returning students. The Financial Award Application opens in February, with major deadlines in March and April. One application covers all available awards. We also provide guidance on student loans, RESP use, and external scholarship opportunities.

Our Student Finance Advisor works closely with students and their families to address questions, establish payment plans, and assist in securing funding. Contact: studentfinance@briercrest.ca.

Our Student Development team cares for the whole person, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. We offer:

• Chapel & Worship – Regular chapel gatherings that encourage students in their faith.
• Mentorship – Opportunities to be mentored by faculty, staff, or peers.
• Counselling Services – Confidential on-campus counselling for personal, academic, and spiritual concerns.
• Clubs & Activities – Events, service projects, and student-led initiatives to help students connect and grow.
